The flavor

The ancient Arab peoples had a cold drink they called sherbeth.

In the 2nd half of the 16th century it became fashionable in Europe’s monarchical courts.

But it was only in the 17th century that sorbet won over the palates of the middle classes in Italy and the rest of Europe, thanks to its creamy freshness.
